The Society of Scottish Artists is an organisation run by artists for artists. Its membership is open to any artist working in Scotland, and its annual show is an open submission event (web link). I first exhibited at the SSA in 1998. I was elected to professional membership in 1999. The following year I was awarded the R.B. Munro Sculpture Prize for Wear Goggles Before Use.
